Hi I currently have a 2006 tundra 4.0 6spd manual base model. I recently turned off the abs light via fixing a grounded wire on the rear drivers wheel speed sensor. After the abs light was turned off I now experience what I can only describe is a honking noise that a goose would make when I brake/turn. I have used 3 different mechanics information sites and all have the same information about a 5 wire can using yaw rate sensor but my sensor is only 3wire. This truck only has an abs light no vsc light. I have done the zero calibration both with snap on solus edge/triton d8 and the paper clip method described on here and in the automotive shop reference sites. All of these directions say that the vsc light will illuminate to indicate you have entered calibration mode. Like I stated before I don’t have that light, but when doing the recalibration the abs light does blink in the same way described in the directions which I thought indicated the successful calibration but I still have the abs pump making the goose honking noise on deceleration with or without steering wheel input. Has anyone felt with this issue? Does anyone have any diagnostic info about the 3pin yaw rate sensor (located under passenger seat to the left of the front seat mounting bolt under the floor liner there is a square bump in the liner). I know I can probably replace both the abs module and the yaw sensor but I still won’t know if it will calibrate. Also this issue was not present before because when the abs light is on the abs is disabled I believe. Thank you for reading this long rambling post and for any help and info you have regarding this issue.

Does your truck have the fancy electric brake booster/ ABS unit instead of a normal vacuum brake booster.

It has a normal vacuum brake booster on drivers fire wall and a abs pump module on passenger wheel well
The plug at the yaw sensor if looking straight at it with the hold/remove clip at the top from left to right with key on
(Gnd)(Gnd)(5v) the left most pin is copper looking so I assume this is ground and the middle would be signal out.
