4 HI light blinking and it won’t shift into 4WD. I found lots of good information about opening up the actuator cover and freeing up the motor. Trouble is, my screws are rusted solid and it’s winter here in MA. Has anyone the dealer or a shop replace/repair the actuator? If so, how much did it cost? Thanks.

Maybe something you can do yourself if you are a diy'er. Check this video out so you may save some dollars. Apprently in the video the guy says that if you get Toyota to do your fix they will want to drop the differential and cost around $4000. So even if you arent a diy'er I suggest at least look into it.

BTW if you screws are in bad shape try to get screw extractor tool. Or find out how to take the screws out somehow would be the best way to go about it.
