have an 04 double cab sr5 and was wondering if anyone did a diy storage with lock in the bed of the truck? Secondly, what is the length and depth size toolbox needed for the tundra?

Someone made their own locking wood box a few weeks back on here. You can probably search for it in this forum.

I have always been able to find a used box that locks and worked fine for around $50 which means it is a lot better deal than anything that I would make and I am pretty good at fabricating too.

Any standard crossover box should work in the truck and if you find one thats too tall then it is easy tp use blocks to lift it off the rails as needed too.
