New guy in North Austin

Hello all, I recently upsized from my 2009 Tacoma to a 2018 Tundra. Best Christmas present I’ve ever given myself. Having a bigger truck is amazing, except when I stop to fill it up. My truck came from the dealership with a lift and 35’s on black rims. It also has custom exhaust from a shop in South Austin. So far I’ve done some small cosmetic changes like adding the black Tundra letters and ditching the whip antenna. Next is the process of ditching all the chrome. Ordered an AJT kit for the interior, and I’m still deciding what route to go for the chrome on the grille and bumpers. The goal is to be all bright blue and matte black. After that I’m looking for a remote start and a camper shell. This site is already super helpful. - Mike

Thanks for all the responses guys. Currently looking at options to get rid of the chrome on the nose because I just don’t like it. What’s the best recommendation for color matching it blue?

You one of two options: Both options are available on this site. Many of the members have taken the lead to make these mods. Many of those who have shared their experiences. You can easily search for those threads using the search option above. We have a parts guru if you are interested in buying those parts in your color (I think). Of course, finding a local body shop to paint match would be something to go with option one if you can find some take off parts in the for sale page.
