Hey Guys, just cleaned my throttle body plate with some CRC TBC. Do I need to change my oil now? I hear different responses on if it is necessary for potential contaminates or is this not true and it is fine until my next interval?

    see sig for mods.....
If that's all you did should be fine. If you used one of those seafoam 'intake cleaner' cans and did a heavy dose of cleaning and decarbonizing of the intake track, would be a good idea. I will normally run a can of seafoam or techron through the fuel tank and if I'm cleaning the TB and intake track try to do it before an oil change. Most of the carbon and dirt gets blown out the exhaust, but blow by through the PVC system and carbon creeping past the rings can contaminate the oil if doing a heavy cleaning or if dirty, But if just a minor spray and wipe down, is not necessary.
