    No you're not.

Ah. Do you also give them the illusion of freedom by allowing them to change their vote, then suddenly remove that option? Because I do...

Only after they put the lotion on their skin.

I don't see what the big deal is about recovery hooks.

Other trucks don't have recovery hooks...

I have rarely read such blasphemous horrible thoughts as what you just posted.

Your love for the Québécois borders on disgusting. I’ll bet you don’t even like tow hooks, or red meat.

Do you have a man bun? You do don’t you?

In all reality, I’ve started watching other pickups the last couple of days, and the large majority don’t have them. Not to say they wouldn’t be nice, because they certainly would be.

And if that doesn’t work how about the appearance of a tow hook? Kind of like piping exhaust sounds into the speakers. You can always paint them on, and I’d definitely go with red.

    IMG_20211224_093059321.jpg

That's just what I can see from my window.
2 new F-150 with recovery hooks.
    1 Ridgeline without recovery hooks.
1 Nissan Titan with recovery hooks
1 Dodge ram with recovery hooks.
1 new GMC with recovery hooks.

Don't feel like going out of my house.... But where I don't have a view, within 200' are:
Another new F-150 platinum with recovery hooks,
Another new GMC Denali with hooks
And I presume my neighbor's new Tacoma DC LB OR has them also.

So, in my sample size, only one "truck" doesn't have them.

So...my buddy has a Jeep SUV that he got stuck with a utility trailer behind it. No tow hooks on the front. We had to disconnect the trailer and manhandle it away from his "Jeep" so I could hook it to my Tundra and tow it away so I could then pull him out backwards all because he had no tow hooks. Did I mention I had to unhook my boat so I could do all this instead of just nosing up to him and winching him back on the road. TOW HOOKS ARE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT IF YOU LIVE IN THE SOUTH AND USE YOUR TRUCK FOR SOMETHING MORE THAN SOCCER TRANSPORT AND GROCERIES!!

I was just looking at a “first oil change thread” and it occurred to me… if they put a regular good ol fashioned oil filter assembly on the 23 that might make up for the cost of adding the tow hooks back. So maybe the 23 will come with tow hooks and a regular oil filter. :monocle:

They will probably come out with a flagship limited tow hook edition in 2023.
There will be a limited run and a waiting list and dealers will have huge adjusted markups on them, that rich guys will gladly pay just to say they have one of the first with tow hooks.
Probably even have “tow hook” embroided in the seats and lettering on side panels.
