    Bought a bottle of Mead from Ale Horn. I even decided to enjoy it with some horn mugs but I'm curious if anyone here has had any and can give me info on best way to serve? I've read cellar temp is ideal but wth is cellar temp? Lol.

    I think "cellar temp" would be somewhere in the 55° - 60° range.

    Copied straight from the "Wine Spectator":

    The ideal temperature range is between 45° F and 65° F (and 55° F is often cited as close to perfect), though this isn’t an exact science. Don’t fret too much if your storage runs a couple degrees warmer, as long as you’re opening the bottles within a few years from their release.

    You can always start out colder, and see how the flavor profile changes as it warms closer to room temp. Sometimes with wine (especially reds) the flavor will open up and get better as it breathes and warms up a little. We generally prefer whites to be colder. Mead I'm not sure, only had it a couple times.

    Not sure about the mead, but wouldn't mind picking up one of those cups.

    @scpete24 nailed it.

    Here's the link to the ones I bought. I love em. I gave the other to a friend for Christmas and we both had some brews out of em. We may have hollered out "Skål!!!!" a few times

    I have a few bottles of Shramm's. It can be a really nice changeup from craft beer and bourbon.
