the guy im buying the mr2 from sells them. his new headers are REALLY nice cast pieces. actually make more power than the old style tubulars he use to offer. Whoever is doing his casting does AMAZING work. obviously the mount point and maf hole are machined

I'm all for it. I would love to get a ride in a 4.7 that has more power without SC. Never had the chance.

Won’t be a thing for a while. But at some point in my trucks life I will likely be putting the street cams in it from supra store.

They’re alright, but kinda wish they matched the headlights better, more clear less white.

    Negative.
The happiness and satisfaction I got when I finally upgraded to a modern HU completely remade the truck. It's very difficult to grow attached to something that only plays music/radio/tapes/whatever that you don't love.

You need to run a special harness for the load. I have a headlight solutions harness and osram 100w bulbs. The lights put my mother’s new Venza FActory leds to shame

I put the emblem on yesterday. I peeled off the crappy sticker it came with. TRD is subtle though because I did black. I could hunt for a white one but I kind of prefer black. I’ll post a photo today.

I’m not in love with the grille yet. At least I got the old one off, had to dremel off one of the studs.

I could see going with just a flat black aftermarket OEM style $70 grille instead. But it’s also kind of nice to be a bit more unique. I could have painted the grille surround black instead of white (it was silver originally). I didn’t want that much contrast. I do like the mesh center piece, it’s metal and looks nice. Probably very easy to add raptor lights too and might even look ok with them. Front camera should mount up easy.

I pretty much completely agree on corners. I think I’ll swap to OEM once I get the switchback bulb harness done and tested. No point in removing those things more than necessary so I’ll troubleshoot with the clears.

I need bulbs now that I have a harness. Pretty sure I’m on stock wattage ones right now. Because I wasn’t sure when I’d get my harness built :)

My favorite mods so far, rough order:

    1. Flip fob w keyless entry (#1 by a long shot)
    2. Battery (group 31, full confidence I can’t break it)
    3. Repainted shell (way less ghetto)
    4. Wireless CarPlay (nav helps so much)
    5. Katzkin (ass appreciated)
    6. Headlights (not awesome yet but better)
    7. Radiator, alternator, starter, water pump and all the maintenance stuff
    For the future, expected ROI:
    1. Lift and suspension (#1 worst part of the truck right now)
    2. Backup camera (very close)
    3. New T handles and struts for shell
    4. Shell LED strip lighting
    5. Rear bumper (Today?) and sliders (Monday)
    6. Blackout decals (because I’m vain) and black fender flares
    7. Switch pros
    8. LED bulbs in corners and tails
    9. Tailgate assist torsion rod and pop n lock tailgate auto lock
    10. Wheels and wildpeak sl 32’s
    11. SSC2 fog lights

I was jealous of a Willy Bar when I saw it at Expedition Expo. Can someone provide a CAD drawing so I can make my own? I have a welder and a paint brush - so I should be able to build it if I can just get the drawing?

The CAD files are proprietary. It's a tightly held company secret, like the Busch beans recipe.

Rumor has it the vault CAD, the Busch bean recipe and the KFC 23 ingredients are all locked in the same safe in a heavily secured government facility.

No need to bring mothers into this thing, not worth the ban hammer. I did some searching and could not find the headlight solutions harness, do you have a link? I read a thread where @KNABORES used a harness and gave a link, but he reported battery drain problems.

Battery drain problems turned out to be unrelated to the harness. It was the 7 pin trailer wiring. Had some bent pins for some reason that were touching each other (Gotta keep em seperated). Happened about the time I upgraded the harness so the harness was my first suspicion. Fixed the trailer wiring plug and it's all good. Harness works great.

Trailer harness is my most likely explanation for my battery drain too. Happily removed. Mine was a crappy aftermarket harness.

Appears to be a set of heavy plates you bolt into the rear of the truck bed. Pretty sure anyone can figure out how to replicate this without a CAD file. Or a computer.
