So, I've been following (on Youtube) a guy called Auto Fanatic. He is clearly a car guy, and has been doing reviews of detailing products for several years. He started making his own products (not sure when), and is on his second version of his car soap, Auto Fanatic Snow Storm. He reviews it on his channel, and it looked like it was worth a try. I bought it from Amazon (11.99), which is cheaper than his web store.

Over the years, I've tried a lot of soaps....trust me...a LOT of soaps. I love using the foam cannon, so I thought I'd see how close I could get to a touchless wash with this product on the Tundra, which was just a little dirty. My mixture was 2 oz of soap to 20 oz of water in the MTM PF22, powered by the SunJoe SPX3000. The soap is not particularly viscous, but not runny either. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The foam was very thick, stuck to the paint very well. When it did run off, it clearly was taking some of the dirt with it. I let it dwell for about 5 minutes...if that matters to anyone. It was around 45 degrees out, so you'll have to wait for the bucket wash review. There was some stubborn dirt on the wheels that needed agitation, but this was the closest to a touchless wash I've encountered.

I'll warn you....if you watch his videos, the Auto Fanatic's voice is kind of irritating. He does seem to know his stuff, and is not sponsored and gives an unbiased opinion. The down side to this product is that it is not available in gallons.

he's been around for a minute. He had the hot shit wheel and tire cleaner a few years ago and all the social media detailers were leg humping over it. Then Brake Buster came out and he disappeared.

I never used his wheel cleaner, but I was so underwhelmed by Brake Buster that I gave away almost a full gallon of it. This soap of his is the real deal....and I've probably been thru more brands of car soap than I can remember. Hopefully, it will get more than a cult following.
