Lots of posts about this lately, most are normal noise with our 5.7 engines. If you think the noise is out of the ordinary boundaries, you can post a vid of the noise that will really help with the diagnosis if you can.

I have a 2015 Tundra with 5.7L. I hear a lifter noise also. But I am inclined to describe this as a normal sound for performance lifters in a performance engine. The idea behind the design of these lifters is to "give" a little at lower RPMs. This makes the cam function as if it had a "milder" geometry cam lobe profile at idle. Giving smoother idle range performance. Just my take, I'm not a Toyota mechanic.

Marvel Mystery Oil when needed to free a sticky valve or 2 otherwise the noise is common on the V*. I don't believe changing the oil more frequently will make any difference. Lots of info from Toyota techs on the issue.
