I recently bought a 2017 sr5 trd crew tundra. I have looked but not found a good answer to what im looking for. The recirculate button on the heater/cooler only comes on when the output is set to feet and chest. It will not come on when i have it set to defrost or defrost feet. I have tried holding the button for 3 sec, doesn't come on. Is there an aftermarket relay i can get for it or is there a wire i can jump to make it work when i want it to?

Don't think so. I think this question has been asked several times though... the Defrost/Feet and Defrost is to allow fresh air to come in to defrost...

You can’t use recirculate in any of the defrost settings. That’s the same in every vehicle.

I’d also be interested in an aftermarket relay to change this setting. The lack of recirculate in defrost mode wasn’t always the case with Toyota trucks. I hate it. My 2011 4runner allowed defrost and recirculate simultaneously. I need it only occasionally, but very much so

Not true. We use recirc and floor defrost together in my wife's 2016 Honda Accord. When the windshield is foggy/frosted on the outside, it works better. When the it's dry out but foggy in the inside, we turn off the recirc in order to get fresh drier air on the inside.
