I have to admit the new Tundra(finally the real Turd gen) is growing on me. Delete that chrome and she's looking nice. Front end is still a little goofy but the rest of the lines look good .

Ultimately it won't matter because I'm never spending $60k on a truck unless I win the lotto.

This could definitely be much worse.
    I like the color too.

I'm with you tho. No way I'm spending $60k on a truck.

Sorry bro, this section is for 1st gens, not 2.5 gens.

Gotta go. This will give you time to moisturize your hands.

I agree, that looks nicer than some renderings or early photos. Maybe the color helps.

I still think the front bumper needs to move up a few inches and I don't like how the front fender and bottom part of the bed drop from the cab to the tire.

I may buy it but it's probably going to be the last truck I ever buy and those plastic bumpers have to go even if it means cutting them off.

I would like to see some aluminum off road matte black colored bumpers in it's place though. The rear bumper could be a wrap-around so no cutting involved.

That grille reminds me of an 8-bit mushroom from Super Mario.
If the front were a few inches shorter (less overhang beyond the bumper), it'd be so much better.

@shifty` finally called Serra Toyota about my delayed order. Eric said one of the parts just came in. And as we feared before, they are starting to discontinue more parts. I could only get the driver side self-adjuster. :(

I guess I'll move forward with rebuilding the rear components and go aftermarket on the passenger side.

Welcome to rusty, dirt road life.
Caliper locked up on the Durango last week but let loose a mile later. Drove all weekend with no problems but replaced it anyway, one piston wouldn't move at all. Gives me peace of mind since we're driving 2 hours to the airport next week.

I'm actually really surprised they took so long to reach out - you didn't get an email? They were really prompt to email with questions/concerns about one of my previous orders.

You're rebuilding brakes on this order? Did you check eBay? I sometimes find private stock on there at normal prices until they realize the parts are disco'd. What part numbers do you lack? I can put some feelers out in a few places.

    $12K worth of honda generators.
    $5K worth of Stihl chainsaws.

More gas, and bar oil than you can shake a stick at. Been unloading trucks most of the last two hours while we wait to be sent elsewhere.

    A fuck load of water.

I would like to believe everyone is honest but I'd keep tight security on all that. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those saws walked away.

Thats how galveston was after ike. I was on ‘white appliance’ duty we picked up thousands of unemptied fridges and a/c units to capture refridgerant.

everyone Had piles of liquor stashed in their lunchboxes.

I'm just a volunteer. The crew in charge of sending out groups has had us stand around most of today... feel like I've wasted most of today as I know there is a ton more work to do.

I'll come back tomorrow, and hope for better fortune.

They were discussing on the radio that there was just an overwhelming amount of volunteers and they didn't know where they were needed.

They actually asked folks to give it a couple days before they showed up, sounds shitty but I can understand.

I thought two days would be sufficient. Lots of employers with outdoor power equipment, skid steers, tractors, termites, front end loaders etc sent their employees on the clock.
