Anyone have recommendations for a front tow bar like this for towing an SUV? We had to use a strap to tow a 2006 4Runner today when it died. Towing with a strap is a scary adventure. Uhaul would not rent us a trailer...I think it was a glitch with their system.

You can punch the info into Uhaul's website and it will tell you whether their system will approve the rental or not. If it doesnt work, just lie using a vehicle that weighs less. Or try renting a car dolly.

    Dont have AAA?

We tried with a small car to begin with because we were going to use a front wheel dolly. It would be hard to get a 4Runner that was dead onto a full transport trailer.
