Diff drop for 2" lift -- yes or no

    Is it necessary to do a diff drop for just a 2" lift? I sort of get the sense that most people think it's only compulsory when you go above 3". I'm planning to do it, it just requires pulling off the skid plate (which bloodied a knuckle or two during its install) and so I need to budget a little extra time. It may get kicked down the road a little.

    No…TRD pro has a 2 inch level with no diff drop.

    Too many, but not enough....
    Nope. Some say it's never necessary and doesn't do anything. I'll be checking my cv axles before and after lift to find the definitive answer.
