Are your back up lights staying on too? If so sounds like the reverse switch. If not, probably a head unit issue.

Yes I have, driving down the road in drive position backup camera comes on cancels radio or navigation nothing I do will make it change till it wants to

I have a 2015, I don’t have the same stereo system, nevertheless, I had issues with it freezing up and doing weird shit. The only thing that would fix it temporarily was to press and hold the volume knob down until it resets. I was able to talk my service advisor into re-flashing (updating) it for me, as we are on good terms. No issues since then.
