If you are going for a stripped down model, I would bet you'll be waiting quite a while. With demand at its highest and supply at its lowest, they'll be loading the trucks up because it will basically be a forced upsell. They know they are going to sell every one they roll out, so they aren't going to roll them out cheap.

They aren’t ordering anything. They are being given trucks somewhat randomly. If dealerships could order specific trucks they would.

I need the 3rd Gen Tundra V6 TT in my 5th Gen 4Runner

 

So I heard that the legroom for the new Tundra decreased an inch or so for the front and back compared to the outgoing model BUT the overall length is like 5-6 inches longer?? Can someone please explain this?

 

The hood is gigantic. Needed more space for all the cooling gear, and for the electric motor to fit between the engine and transmission.

 

Makes sense . . . but RIP legroom. I don't know about you, but I like my legroom haha

I saw a 2022 TRD offroad limited (I believe) at the Orlando Auto show this weekend. Only had a pre-production model. Looks great in person. Beautiful truck and very up to date.

You won’t be able to tell the difference of 1 inch in the front or back, unless you are over 6’5.

 

Yeah it was the head room that took the biggest hit. Platinum vs platinum took 2 inch hit for head room.

 

And crash test ratings/pedestrian safety, too, I believe.

 

Chipped paint? Thats not really an Easter egg, it has been coming standard on new Toyotas for years.

IDK, to me that would have been cool to hide little trucks everywhere years ago, but to do that now in 2022 just seems kinda lame to me.

New Guy, just put a deposit on one from Fox Toyota in Clinton, TN. MSRP, Tax, plus $600 Document Fee. Limited, 5.5 with the upper TRD Package. Dealer stated they could not order me one but they get new allocations every two weeks. Once they receive notice from Toyota that closely matches what I want, they can work with Toyota to adjust the build to match 100%.
