I owned a Jura when single. Wife hated it so I took it to work (we do pour over). I’m not sure if it’s still upstairs in the office or not. Cool idea but kinda high maintenance. I can live with basic pour over.

Bad machines are high maintenance. Good machines are regular maintenance. It's usually the machines that put out gas station level brew that don't require any maintenance. Precision and quality require periodic upkeep, our favorite trucks are no different. Should we treat our appliances any different from our wheels? ;)

Fully agree. Just maybe lazy with coffee because if I’m going to do maintenance I want it to be worth tens of thousands? :)

I looked for a photo of the LC and I only have one of the boat. Oh well. I’ll grab one next time for sure. And hells no would I let anyone else buy it if it were for sale, I’d full on empty lord that s in a heartbeat.

Nah, I'm good. I'm fighting with having to contact a stranger in Taiwan to get a steamblock for a Crossland CC1 because the 'creator' won't bother to answer.

I passed through a wealthy hood in Orange County today and spotted a Mirai in the wild. Excellent looking car.

Also, just got that guitar I've been waiting for. Now like a kid I have to eat dinner before I open it.

This thing sounds absolutely beautiful. Very different from the LP I've been playing since April, less like an electric and more like a classical acoustic. The LP kind of depends on the amp and whatever settings I'm using (clean with a bit of reverb usually), where this seems to produce a sound that the amp... amplifies but isn't working to enhance.

Color wise it looks gray to me but I have a hard time distinguishing some colors. In bright light it looks olive green, in the soft lighting of my living room it looks like a drab gray. I can live with either. I'm going to play it a week and write more in the guitar thread.

Chameleon! Looks olive drab from my chair. Everybody I've ever met that has difficulty with colors is a damn good electrician. Kinda why a lot of TGs ground wires are orange......:D

She always wanted a toaster oven like this, and this little guy supposedly air frys too. Hopefully, it won't be another one of those typical multi-taskers where it sucks at two jobs.

Game plan for the amp I acquired. Being a two door I don’t need the extra 6 pin that powers the rear speakers. I think I’m going to make a new radio harness to clean it up a bit. Main harness to a sub connector that then goes to the amp, then amp to the bulk connector at the bottom of the dash. This will also allow me to attempt to fix the back camera issue and clean up the 28 and 24 pin connectors I added in the past. Removing rear wiring also will open up 4 pins to integrate more into the factory loom for features. Need to find the correct terminals now and I’ll likely use one colour wire for this job.

Also only need the two channels to the amp. The amp will populate the extra two for the sub I will add at a later date. Tomorrow I’ll order the connectors I need and source pins

would be a fun truck to toss a modern toyota 2.7L in and tool around it. finding parts for the ol 22re has gotten harder the past few years. and that engine likely needs a full rebuild if its been open like that for long..
