What Size Tires do you have? 1ST GENS ONLY!

Yeah, like the title says. I'm curious about the demographics of who's running stock, vs +1, vs 33s, vs 35s.

285/75/16 yoko geolandar AT but have been debating moving to the pizza cutter 255/85/16 in a more aggressive tread. Wheels are KMC Enduro 16x8 4" backspace I think, maybe 4.5".

I would love to get 17s and run 285/75/17 but I can't being myself to spend about $3k on the wheels and tires I want.

 

Mine are 285/70/17 or 32.8" I think. Would love to have 35's but not worth the trouble and cost of regearing and tubing the firewall. I'm not doing anything else to this truck until I fix the brakes.

Wheels are SCS Ray 10's 17x8.5 4.3" backspace. I just barely rub and didn't do any trimming at all. Just removed the front mud flaps.

265/70/16. Michelin LTX Defender of course. Tires are crazy smooth and quiet even with 50k on 'em. Good match for the silky smooth and quiet 4.7.

It's a personal thing... but I don't recall seeing wheels I liked better on this truck.

I think Toyota did it right... right out of the gate in 2000. No need to fix what ain't broke.

 

285/70/17 TOC At2, I’m not sure of the specs of the fuel wheels

 

35 x 12.5 x 17 toyo rts with scs f5 17 x 8.5 - 10mm offset. No re gear, some inner fender tub, fender trim and body mount chop.

285/75/16 Maxxis RAZR MT, 16x7 +15 Wheel, 1.5" spacers.

 

We haven't gotten anywhere with either the tundra or Lexus. The tundra sits most days as Sam got a new daily beginning of this year, 2006 V8 2wd 4Runner. I drive the Lexus daily now for work, better fuel economy for ~100 mile round trip.

I still lurk here most days. Just haven't had any updates on my projects, I do have a couple of things in the works for the tundra though!

Have you guys done anything to the new 4runner? (We like pics!)
Can you let any small cats out of the bag for what your working on for the tundra? Hopefully production stuff? As you know the aftermarket game for the BestGen really sucks, I’m excited to see what your brainstorming and will definitely support!

If not for the deep backspacing I would have kept my starfish wheels. I really liked how they looked too, and you can't beat light weight forged wheels.

 

We have not done anything to the 4runner either besides setting up a dog kennel in the back. Oh and got it some wheels Sam wanted.
I actually have a front and engine skid plate modeled, but haven't tested it yet. I have a hybrid bumper designed for the tundra (since my accident, still don't have a front bumper) but have been busy with other projects. I will keep my build thread up to date as the Tundra is updated. I do have plans of getting myself a welder, which would help in finishing these projects.

Damn that looks good. I swear Toyota didn't make many first gens in black. I never see them in person and I still see a LOT of first gens still on the road.
