Happy Pedal

Whyy is my pedal sensitive to the touch? Even the smallest jerk in my foot from a road hump will result in aggressive acceleration. Or is it the 5.7 in this bad boy???

 

the earlier tundras have sensitive pedals/throttle. Later models are toned way down to the point many install a throttle controller to make it more sensitive.

Want even more go than what you have?, turn off traction control and hit the tow/haul button.

 

My '13 is touchy too. Weird that it only happens when the gf is taking a drink though....

Your pedal may be the victim of a recall where some shims are installed (the fix for stuck throttle) which effectively reduces the friction inside the pedal assembly…. Try a new pedal like @audiowize suggested.
