I just ordered my TRD rear sway bar for my 2018 1794.My current rear suspension set up it Toytec boss with Firestone airbags. I have the Decked system installed with a canopy on top. Anyone have a similar setup with the rear sway bar installed? Also what are your thoughts as far as before and after the installation? Appreciate everyone’s input

    Alot of them
The sway bar will greatly reduce the body roll.

4 years ago I was swayed to anti-sway. Best decision ever.

I love mine. Ole girl has a tight rear end now. Black out that hardware prior to install for an awesome aesthetic.

My Toytec coil overs are red so the TRD rear sway will only compliment the coil overs.

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
Highly recommend for highway and mild off road use. Big noticeable difference in reduced body roll. One of the best mods.

Love the rear sway bar so much I would upgrade the front just to see how much of a difference it would make

He meant the hardware as in the bolts and the plate attachments to the axle. They are all bronze/gold so they kind of stick out on a black undercarriage. That is my plan when I finally decide to order the rear sway.

I went with Rustolem pro grade undercoating. Should do the job.

Its an awfully smooth finish on the brackets and such. I roughed it all up before hitting it with some flat black. It all still looks great after several months of use and abuse.

Love it alone on my Crewmax, have both on the Sequoia, huge improvement!

    Enjoy!

Front and rear are part of my Sport package. Great setup for on road driving; for all the aforementioned reasons.

Made all the difference for towing. The body roll before made towing a white buckle experience. After install towing is just like the Titan I used to have… easy peasy. Shame on Toyota for not making it standard equipment… should be on every Tundra.

i did the same treatment on the mounting hardware, flat black rustoleum, followed by fluid film for rust prevention. Looks awesome…

How big a difference did you notice on your sequoia and what was most notable about it?

I installed the rear on my wife’s sequoia last week but we haven’t driven it anywhere yet haha

It was a night & day difference. I did it on it's own, before the springs & shocks front & rear. Before the rear was squirley, after it is planted. Then I did the front sway & 5100s & Dobinsons 1.75 springs and the truck is great.

Rear sway bar, trd air filter, running boards, sound deadener in doors, upgraded speakers, cargo glide, topper, Roof racks, overland awning.
Sway bar addition was a game changer. I live on I-70 in the Colorado mtns and WOW handles so much better. Best $$ mod you can make.
Can’t wait to feel the difference towing my camper.

You will love it on the road and when towing. Any crazy off road stuff you may regret it BUT how often are you crawling in the rocks and dirt? I use my rigs but sacrificed the articulation and benefit from the anti sway when towing and driving the crazy country roads out here in NW OR. I also wanted to tame the lean from the 8" lift. Super happy with my decision. Bonus... they look great too! I ended up buying the BDS extended end links for 7” lift and painting them to match with Rustoleum.

I've had TRD rear sway bar and firestone ride rite air bags for nearly 4 years on my '18. The excessive body roll was immediately solved with the TRD RSB. Towing with this setup, the rear end feels securely planted. I would bet you'll be very happy with your combo.
