The Woman's sister is vegetarian. Last time she was over for dinner she thought she'd have a salad and was half way done loading her plate up when I saw it and reminded her I put bacon in it. She asked if there was anything without meat in it. Apparently not. Even the mac&cheese has bacon in it. What can I say? I'm a carnivore.

Now I just point her to the fridge and say "veggies are in there. help yourself. we're having steak".

The views are nice, but trust me, working with that many females sucks! So much drama, talking behind backs, bitching, and trying to act sophisticated it's not even funny.

I have Oakley Juliet's. Best sunglasses I could ever ask for. Made with titanium. When I worked on the farm before becoming a nurse, I ran them over with a 6 ton water truck. Broke lenses but the frames where still good. New lenses and good to go.

From October to January is a time to spend with friends and family. Indoors, since I turned 60, that's also my minimum temperature, unless I'm catching pups or rockfish.

Anyway, we all have a lot of traditions, and they're all good.

Haha you beat me!! She loves to have fans going full speed, so 62 in the house can be a little chilly for the boys in the morning! But I usually kick it on when I get up to check the plumbing @66 and then turn it off when I leave for work.

 

When it gets to 80 during the day, the house stays warm.

 

And yes, it did rain last night. That is about double our normal humidity.

And December may be cold, but it's the best month because I was born in December.

It “spit” at my house, barely enough to make the gutters run. But it did make everything smell nice the last two nights, now it’s just windy as a mofo

 

We got drizzle from about 11-1. Put rust spots on my sliders. Have to bust out the Gibbs in the morning.

 

You didn't get them powder coated?

 

No - it was a big rush to get them in for Tundras to Sedona and they also don’t warranty PC damage during shipping. It’s so dry here it isn’t a big deal having them bare steel for now but I will get some coating on them (thinking color match paint with some grip tape to be a little different) before I start dunking the boat in the spring.

 

Sliders ended up being delivered about 48 hours before we left for Sedona so it was the right call.

I had mine shipped bare too. I Also color matched. I was going to use skate board tape but turns out didn't really need it. Sliders didn't seem to be too slick, even in terrible weather to really need it. Which sliders did you go with?

 

WKOR. I realized right after I typed that I just told the only other Tundras.com member with color matched sliders I’m color matching my sliders to be different.

More worried about shoes/boots wearing the paint than slipping. Want paint over PC for theoretically easier touch up.

 

I’ve been through 3-4 sets of Oakleys the past 5 years. Got a little tired of them scratching fairly easy so I tried some Magpul polarized glasses in the spring and they are still going strong.

 

Boots and shoes are nothing unless you get a rock stock in them when stepping on them. Ask me how I know.

The underside takes a beating though. Will definitely need to take them off in the spring and redo/touch up. I still have my mudd flaps and still sling up gravel all on them. Plus side it's the sliders instead of the side of my truck though.

 

I did color matched bumpers front and rear on my first gen Tacoma. Really liked the look
