They are dog ear. I don't know if they're the same size as Gibson. They are pretty well liked among the Epiphone crowd but I've never heard them in person.

First thing I may change is swap that guard to black, or remove entirely. I think black would work better with the black headstock.

Window fell off the track or are you getting a boner from the sunset?

I thought that was a distorted view from the dash cam. Looks pretty cool though.

If it was a Dodge or a Jeep, it would've fallen out of the track completely and shattered.

that sucks. I wonder why. If the AC is the same I assume there are 2 bolts that go through the window and onto a nylon slide on the track. Maybe one came loose? Hopefully it's sitting in the bottom of your door. Also, a good time to clean/lube that track up...I know PHM would.

So, I scooted into the work parking lot. I arrived early as I was going to clock in early. Decided to give myself 30 min to take the door panel off, and see what's up.

Whipped out my multitool and the interior pry tool i keep in the car.
    20211124_170134.jpg
Door panel off. Window definitely out of track.

Asked Wyatt if I could store my hand gun in his truck. He agreed. Misplaced my flashlight somewheres so other than my phone, I'm lightless.

Supposed to start raining at 4am when the cold front hits. Drop to the low 40s with rain. Will be securing trash bag over door, and then closing door. Clock out at 5...

Thankful that I have two jackets, and a damn fine heater! Oh, and here's the weekend list...
    20211124_165312.jpg

    12 hours each day.

Ouch. Fortunately we get 4 days off. But we did 13 days straight last week(64 hours and 56 hours), and for the next 5 weeks it's 6 10s. Should chill out after that if we get substantial completion on this job by 12/31.

I've worked the last 7 weekends in a row. I've been on six 10s too lol

I was hoping for a nice break to rest my feet, and my back. Chiropractor still closed for corona.....

I hope you get a break soon. It's easier working those long shifts when you're younger, but it makes you older faster.

    Happy holidays y'all.

Thankful for modern medicine and my pop's heart monitor; not sure if he'd still be here without it. The doctor called and told him he had to go in for a sudden surgery yesterday to have a pacemaker put in. Surgery went well and he should be out and spending time with us this afternoon.

    Nice!

For mine I went and did day-of reg at 6am sharp then ran back home (at least I got the dog 2.5 miles of exercise). Then I left the house way late with 10 minutes to get back to the start (1.2 ish miles away) and made it with 60s to spare. Tried to hang with my teammate who I beat 2 weeks ago and he dropped me, then 3 dudes passed me on the 2nd lap. Ran 4s shy of my expected time but feeling pretty lousy about how it all shook out. One guy way off the front (there's a legit race with super fast people just 2 towns north of us) too, just there to cherry pick the locals race I think, though who knows, maybe he's a local college kid home for the holidays. And the guy 2 in front of me walked a bit on the last mile but still held his place, just sort of a s show of dudes all mixes up in a tight space.

Anyway, amusing start to the day. Drinking soon to follow once I get to the airport. Cheers everyone.

Witch Brew Sour ale. Tastes like blue raspberry gummy worms and they added glitter because why not.

I learned long ago I'm never going to be the fastest but figure just shy of 40 I'm doing fine just getting out there. This was a 1st time for my sister so we did a lot of walking but finished just about 1:30.

    Happy Thanksgiving guys.

Thought you'd get a kick out of my Fluid Film use. I removed the rocks from my fire pit and covered the rusty areas with FF. Looks much better. :)

Its around 60 here today and the leaves are mostly gone. Hope everyone is enjoying themselves.
