Sure do. I have experience from -30 Celsius in the snow to +30 Celsius in the surf at a beach in Hawaii.

I much preferred the beach experience.

All a sudden the cold sucks again

 

Winter sucks. But fall is were it's at. Cold mornings were you can see your breath. But warms nicely during the day. The magical time of year were you run your ac and your heater in the same day. Get to go on long hikes with your rifle pretending to hunt. Scenery is picturesque with all the fall colors.

 

How long does that last?

For my area? About 2 months on average. Depending on how long summer wants to stick around and how soon winter sets in. This year it was short. Still had warm temps into October. This week the cold has decided to venture in with high 30's.

 

All the browns and orange and yellows and browns and orange and yellows and browns and orange and yellows.

 

And reds. Lots of maples around here turn red. Tamarack turn yellow. And green, most all coniferous trees stay green. I mean, we are the evergreen state.
