Can I trouble anyone with factory spray in liner for pictures

I am taking my truck in for line x and wanted to see the tail gate area how the factory taped it up.

ps the top plastic trim on the box and box tail gate does it look like they are removed when sprayed? or do they tape up to the plastic?

 

It’s tough to get a good picture but yes it’s painted under the plastic…. Based on what I see on mine I am assuming that they have to remove it.

 

yeah looks like they just mist it in there but no build up so it does not lift trim. thats cool thank you

 

How much is it costing you to get it Line-X'd? I'm considering the same...I have the OEM bed liner, but I'd rather have it sprayed....

 

In Canada 599 and 699 for the uv stuff.

Reason for me asking for pictures was to get a idea of where to have the tape off lines. I see some shops go over board and the line X might affect how the tail gate closes.

As you can see on the white truck OEM does not spray where the rubber stopper hits. I like that.

 

Interesting why Toyota leaves the blue section with no spray?
The red circle side is where the rubber stopper hits but nothing hits on the blue side.

I was going to copy Toyota way just like picture.

 

I don't believe the bed is sprayed at the factory. Instead, I think it's as port-installed option (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
