Ac in my 08 tundra is having issues. It works but the vent selection knob that changes vents is malfunctioning. If it's on any of the center/left options, feat/face/combination, ac blows from feet. If on either 2 far right options (turning the knob to far right) ac blows .5 on the windshield, .5 on feet. In other words, regardless where the knob is pointed, ac only has 2 options. It will not blow face only, as if an actuator that closes the feet vents is broke? Wondering what I need to replace, the control panel with the knobs or something else electrical behind the dash? Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Let me check, if I have the HVAC control unit in my garage on a shelf somewhere. I removed it when I upgraded to a 12" LCD Android HU that has the HVAC controls digitally on the screen.

This is very likely to be an actuator issue. Toyota apparently paid too much attention to what Dodge was doing when designing this truck...

It certainly won't hurt to borrow a control panel from someone else to hope that fixes the issue, but I would plan on a deep dive into the dash to inspect and replace actuators as necessary.
