Just put some KO2s on for winter driving in CO. My Pro originally had 30psi as the recommended pressure. KO2s are E rated and I'm afraid that 30psi could cause them to run hot. I'm thinking 36 or 40 would be better for this tire. What are you KO2 owners running?

Don't you normally run LT tires in the 55psi + range?

Chalk test is the best way to get your pressure set.

On my LT's they are set at 36 front 34 rear.

This should get you a base pressure.

The 3peak winter rated KO2 do pretty well. I've used several sets on my other trucks/FJ. The original KO weren't that good. A dedicated snow tire would be better but I can live with 3peak KO2s.

    No worries.

I lived in CO for a few winters and getting my tire pressure set was a pain, the temperature swings are crazy sometimes.

oh, and I run the same size, different brand, E load. Best tire wear and feel for my truck is 40-42. 36-38 makes ride softer, but wears slightly more on edges and makes turns feel a bit squishy.

KO2’s 275/70R18 The installer wanted to use the PSI listed on the door placard. I had him put 40 PSI in. I’m now running 50PSI and I’m happy with the ride. I will air up a bit when I pull the camper, but I feel 50 PSI is where I’ll stay for normal conditions. IMO
