    Hi everyone,

I’m sure this has been posted but I’m not seeing it. I’m considering this 2.5 in lift from Rough Country so that I can go up to 33” tires.

    https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota...rkqNOKPj4iR57grUaAnR9EALw_wcB#256=611&154=587

Rough Country site says N3 struts are for 4wd only, but I can’t find a reason why? Can they be installed on my 2wd access cab? I would do the lift with spacers in the front, but with 150k miles I feel like replacing the struts is a good investment.

Anyone know what’s different about the 2wd vs 4wd struts?

I just did the loaded struts (coilover shocks) on my 4WD a few weeks ago with the matching rear shocks. My truck has 220,000 on it and I wanted new springs. No blocks. Sits perfectly level. Rides nice and did an alignment, no issues. I would call them. I ordered from Rough Country direct and had them the next day. Good luck.

Just want to add that this is my first dance with a Toyota. I have had a number of 4x4's and they all got lifted. This truck replaced a 1972 Dodge Powerwagon crewcab with Dana 60/70 and a fuel injected Magnum 360 with a NV4500 five speed that I installed so I know my way around tools and have the scars to prove it butt....the guys on this forum are the experts.
