    Lots of shenanigans.
I know it's been asked in the past by myself and others but I can't seem to get a definite answer. Currently running Leitner bed rack, Mt. Hood RTT, Decked, and additional gear. It is a daily driver and she is currently squatting. I am running the TRD Pro Bilstein's with Total Chaos UCA (Not sure if it makes a difference knowing that).

I am in desperate advice for new leaf springs, bump stops and shackles combo. A rough estimate on the additional load would be around 750 lbs. I don't wanna break the bank on this but also don't wanna get a cheap option and regret it later on. I also plan on running more weight in the future, I.e. rear bumper, awning, the gear pods from Leitner, and a shower tent. That might add a couple more hundred pounds.

Thanks in advance, hope I can get this resolved! I'll post better pictures once I get back from my work trip but I quickly took these the other day. It is not level ground.

Dobinson's HD leaf packs, yellow Sumo spring bump stops. Ironman greasable shackles and bushings. Or Roadmaster Active Suspenion HD kit. I have all of it.20211011_133138.jpg

Awesome, how tight do you have the spring cranked? What type of offroading do you do?

800 or so in armor and gear. Put another 1500-2400 in cargo at times. Just squats about 2" with a
ton in the bed and a full tank.

Springs have just enough extension to see daylight when empty. Pretty light offroading, too new, and really built to pull and haul cargo to and from with the expectation of rough terrain upon arrival at certain locations.

2nd the roadmaster active suspension for your application. Would be better than shackles, they will raise 1-1.5 inches but Tundra leafs are still soft, RAS is specifically made to address squat without any harsh ride.

Kinda nice to throw 30 sacks of post mix in the bed and not drag the hitch on a speed bump. That is how a truck should be IMO.

Did you do all of that at once (the leaf packs, shackles, Sumos, RAS HD)?
Do you have any pics of these loads?

Did Sumos first, too close to frame for articulation. Leaf packs are expensive and I don't care to flatten them, solution RAS. Shackles are stock size, but greasable for a better ride and bushing longevity. BDS traction bars to minimize axle wrap with 2" of rear lift and much torque at take off, that can eat u joints quickly.

    Sorry, no pics

Ok, I’ll look into RAS. I’ve heard of toyotech, old man emu, and icon for leafs. What’re y’all’s thoughts on those?

mom pretry set to get the coach builder shackles with sumo bumps. Just need to figure out the leafs. Biggest thing is bang for my buck.

RAS delivers bang for your buck, and is easy to remove and sell if anything happens to the truck.

Dobinson's will not let you down, but installation is a little challenging as they are awkward and heavy.

I would just get their HD packs and dump the coachbuilder idea. Get Ironman greasable shackles and bushing set. Don't forget u bolt kit. Brakeline relocate, and carrier bearing drop spacers, plus some shocks. Anthony at Boss 4x4 can help you out, give him a call. Pretty sure I paid about $800 for the springs and they took about a month to arrive.

I don’t think that I need to replace the shocks. I have the 2.5” bilstein with remote reservoirs. They seem to be fine.

    why dump the shackles?

What’re your thoughts on the Ironman leafs?

    What’s the HD packs?

Just my preference, you want to wait forever, lose spare space, not have grease ports, etc. Be my guest on your shackles. HD is a heavy duty 7 leaf pack. I also have Bilstein 5160's, in my case I will be adding extension limit straps because I don't like the idea that if the tires come off the ground at speed, then the the HD springs will extend with lots of force and possibly pull the shocks apart. Not that I plan to jump my truck, but I have hit dips in unfamiliar areas while driving at night in my life and who knows I might have to take the ditch or sidewalk to avoid a drunk or something, been there too. No experience with Ironman leafs. Dobinson's has been doing good stuff for a long time.

As stated before call Anthony at Boss 4x4 or call Dobinson's direct. I don't have a link handy. Might check Exit offroad or Wheelers too.Regardless, likely a special order item that you will need to wait for. Good luck! If possible get an extra set of hands to help you install, make sure the truck can't fall on you too.

So after speaking with Dobinson. They’re recommending that I use the L59-121 with the add a leaf. It’ll cover up to 770lbs. I haven’t gotten my truck weighed yet but I think I’m roughly around 750 lbs. I plan on adding a rough country rear bumper, an awning, and a shower curtain. I would estimate an additional 200-300 lbs. I already got the coach builder shackles and plan on running the blue sumo springs. Do y’all think that set up will offset the heavy daily load? Or should I just get custom ones with Alcan? I prefer the dobinson since it’ll most likely be cheaper. I noticed today that my leaf springs are also laying flat. So I kinda need to make a decision sooner than later
