This is the goal for my T100 project. Once it's done it's for my dad to use and me sometimes too.

Some of y'all know how much I despise "ChrisFix"

However, he just saved me 25% on my parts at Advance Auto today, re-upping on fluids and a few bits and bobbles. Still don't like him, but maybe despise a bit less.

if you have an Advance Auto near you, coupon code is CHRISFIX25 to get 25% off your order. Mine is less than a mile away, so free delivery within 8 hours. BONUS.

Must've been the day for this stuff, this ate up a chunk of my day yesterday. MIL shot me a text. Waste people were dumping the dumpster at her building. Picked the dumpster up, set the dumpster down. She drove forward, apparently the wheels didn't lock? So dumpster rolled down the hill, right into her new-to-her ultra-low mile 2017 Lexus is350 F-sport she's barely had 3 months now Before and after.

You'll need to find bits and pieces via search. Nothing ultra-specific, he didn't have sex with my mom and destroy our nuclear family or anything. HEY GUYS CHRISFIX HERE, AND TODAY I'M GONNA SHOW YA HOW TO PUT SOME WOODER IN IT.

I find that back in the day he made decent videos, but his cadence and voice are annoying. His more recent videos are all "check out the humvee that youtube money bought me" or "let's mod my shitbox mustang drift car". Pretty sure he still lives with his parents too...

Tendinitis elbow is screaming at me presently…
But I got the passenger’s side apart.

Going to put this side together before I start on my side. Then I’ll tighten everything once it’s all together and on the ground…whenever TF that is.

So after driving the Tundra for a few days and jumping back into the Tacoma two things stand out.

    1. I really like backup cameras. I like front cameras too. I think this is one key mod which can add value to an older vehicle or for chump drivers like me.
    2. Steering wheel volume controls are really nice too. I don’t have a solution for that yet.

I was mopping the floor (yeah, I do that) and got tired of waiting for the fan to dry it. Just had maybe a brilliant idea to get my m18 leaf blower in here. In the next 5 minutes either I'll feel like a genius or a moron.

Edit- pretty genius. I feel like I'm having a @bmf4069 car parts in the dishwasher moment.

Today I bought the smallest, cheapest DeWalt chainsaw they make. It's the one I asked for opinions on earlier this year. It performed flawlessly. My dad was a lumberjack in his 20's and even he was impressed. Obviously it won't work for huge jobs but I would hire someone for that anyways. Got good battery life out of it as well.

About 45. It wasn't terrible today, people are just stupid. Biggest thing is no abrupt maneuvers if you can help it, there I just let off the pedal and coasted off the side and back. No brakes, and no throttle until I was back in the lane.

It's also early enough that the roads aren't in too much danger of freezing over quickly, ground temp is still above 40 so it'll melt off of asphalt pretty well.

4wd helps when you know how to use it. 3 things to remember:

    1. It doesn't help you stop. Plan your braking accordingly. Good tires, preferably studded, help with stopping.

    2. It helps when starting from a standstill, but you can still spin if it's slick enough. Hard acceleration is no bueno.

    3. It does help while turning, but you need to remember that in order for it to grab you need to be on the gas. Coasting and turning is useless.
