Yeah. Not sure how I feel about that. I have a 2018 Tacoma with the synthetic bed. It is like an ice skating rink when it gets wet. A $100 bed mat takes care of that though. I guess the spray it might eliminate the need for a bed mat.

I agree, my 2014 tundra had bedliner skating rink. I liked just throwing the mat it when I wanted things to stay put or pulling it out when making dump runs…

That SY code has to be an error. My SR5 build with SY code has everything mentioned on that monroney plus the larger fuel tank. I’d maybe call the dealer to clarify…

that would look a lot better if it was closer to well oiled saddle and less orange playground basketball.

but everyone likes what they like and as long as the person paying for it is happy, nothing else matters.

Someone is commenting on looks of another vehicle in the 22 Tundra thread after what Toyota just did to it?... looks are very subjective l

I don't think there will be any issues with the reliability on the Tundra Hybrids. The technology is very well known now and with no moving parts there isn't anything to break.

Now that the dust has settled from the Tundra launch...

The new Tundra looks amazing. Every other pickup now looks dated and boring. Even the refreshed 22 Sierrado's look tame.

Probably nothing wrong with hybrid system, but all these Youtube reviews and car reviewers are pretty positive( of course they are not going to say something negative about the Tundra). Let's see when actual trucks get into consumer hands and see what actual owners will say about the system and transmission working together.

TFL ain't afraid to be honest.

They shamed Toyota back in a video of the old gen vs new gen towing test when they gave each truck two different trailers to showcase and ripped the weight capacity stickers off lol.

We'll all get used to it and it's not ugly enough for me not to buy it but sorry ... it's ugly. I would have taken all of the improvements in the gen 2 body in a heartbeat but even that was was in 4th place for me.

    It's not ugly.

Does anyone know what A/T tires are gonna come with the TRD Off-Road package? I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer anywhere.

Lots of potential buyers are chopping at the bit for the hybrid version of the Tundra but really aren't giving it much thought. If you're expecting better fuel mileage you might want to rethink that. If you use your truck primarily for towing and/or long highway trips you're not going to see any gain in mpg. The advantage of the hybrid in regards to mpg will be see in city driving where brake regen can take place. There is also the aspect of the cost of replacing the batteries in 7-10 years time. The resale on an older Tundra hybrid I suspect will be less.

Last presentation I saw from one company , they were touting 80% charge in 20 mins. I am not sure it was for every electric vehicle or just certain brand.
