Hi Everyone new to the forum hoping for some help.

On my 05 the heater a/c climate control knob will not got to heat.

I took apart the panel and the cable that runs to the passenger foot panel area had fallen off. I think flap that cable controls is sticking its hard to move the cable.

Can I lube the mechanism? has anyone fixed this?

    thank you
    Aaron

Yes, you can lube the cable for the heater valve. It is located in the engine bay. I followed the advice below and it resulted in smoov action at the dial.

    Removed lots of rust.
Here are the cable adjust instructions.

Thank you both. The box mechanism is where I'm having trouble it feels like its sticking. I am going to try to lube the cable and mechanism. I will report back if it works. I appreciate your input.
