Long story short I replaced all my interior lights and cargo lights with VLEDS back in 2018. A map light bulb was loose in the socket (all of a sudden), and stupid me instead of researching this issue on Tundras.com said I'll be very careful with a small set of pliers and bend the socket back into place (...no I didn't disconnect the battery...stupid mistake number 2).

Once I noticed all the interior lights not coming on anymore, sure enough I blew the dome fuse under the hood. Well of course they don't give you any 7.5 amp spare fuses, and I couldn't run to the auto part store at this time. So I started getting smarter and went onto the forums to find out how to drop the roof console. Dropped the roof console to find the socket circuit popped out of the plastic tabs that hold them into place, so I took my time and popped everything back into place. Then noticed I didn't have cargo lights anymore either. Did some more research and got the sick feeling in my stomach that I shorted the body ECU.

Picked up some 7.5 amp fuses this morning, and replaced the dome fuse under the hood. Interior lights and switch work again...YES...maybe its my lucky day! Crawled under the dash and found the cargo lamp fuse. Fuse looked fine but went ahead and replaced it anyway, but still no cargo lights. I replaced the LED bulb in the cargo lights with regular bulbs and still nothing.

Of course I can't find my voltmeter either right now. Any ideas or tips?

    Thanks,

    Danny
