Just had the adjustable RC Vertex coilovers and rear shocks installed on my truck. Already had a 6” Pro Comp lift and hated the way it rode (spacer lift up front). It’s already much better with the new setup. My question is, where would everyone recommend setting them for both the front and rear? I do zero off reading. Only street driving and I make work trips often to Louisiana and their roads are worse than horrendous. With this in mind, where you set the front and rears for the smoothest ride? They are adjustable 1-8 with 1 being “softest”. Right now I have them both set at 4 since I don’t know which way to go with them.

If they are adjustable on the truck, like with a spanner wrench, play around with it. What feels right on one truck may not feel right to you- it all depends on load of the truck, how you drive, etc.

One= would be softest ride. But that may make the truck wallow in handling and turns. You know what 4 feels like, since that is what you have. Try #1, then try maybe #6 and see how the truck responds. A couple adjustments and a day or two driving at each setting will have you all dialed in based on what feels best to you.
