Anyone have problems with Victory 4x4 parts not fitting their Tundra correctly? I’ve had problems with the control arm skids hitting and grinding my front rims, engine skid hitting the front diff and the rear diff skid plate bottoming out on the diff housing. The axle brackets don’t even come close to touching the axle housing. All supposed to fit 2007 to 2021. Excellent quality, just the fit is bad and not checked from year to year I guess.

Lot of bad experiences from people buying/using their parts on here to the point they were removed from being an official vendor. I dont have any experience personally just giving you some insight. Search victory 4x4 and threads should come up for you. Good luck!

I have experience with the bracket coming off and getting mangled by the driveshaft. If you do get it on, check it, check it, and then check it again after every time you drive it.

It’s not from year to year. That’s how they fit on every year. Most of my buddies with the diff skid have removed them. I ruined a pair of wheels with their LCA skids too. They’re a garbage company with garbage products. Hopefully you don’t have their roof rack.

Thanks everyone. I figured I was not the only one. Anyone have anything good to report about RCI’s rear diff cover? Seems like it might be better.

I have the RCI, the ground clearance is better with Victory. RCI has longer wings on the sides. I tried to install the front piece at the front of the skid but it was already hitting the driveshaft bolts so I’ve been running it without it the whole time. As far as the brackets, I think that’s how it was designed, my RCI is the same way.

I have had their armor and diff skid on an FJ and Taco.

Not sure why the victory rear diff skid fits some and not others. Must be the tow package with the 4:30s. Toyota actually shows 3 different part numbers for the rear diff housing in 2020.

How do control arm skids hit the wheels? Just installed some and would rather not ruin my new methods.

On their very first version, at full lock the corner of the skids touched the wheels on certain offsets. They cut the corner off after that but many people got their wheels damaged.

When I find someone to buy my icon arms, I’ll let him know you have a diff skid for sale.

Yup I have the lower control arm skids and diff cover for sale. Engine skid fits better with the spacers and transmission transfer case skid fits perfect. Wish the others would have worked out. My local dealer did some research and discovered Toyota has 3 different part numbers for a rear differential housing on a 2020 Tundra. Must be different suppliers for the housing and slight variations in the housings. Rear diff skid just needs a little bit more room to work.
