I have a 2020 Tundra and Apple CarPlay use to work just fine, but here as of recent it doesn't want to work.

It will connect to my phone for a min or so and then disconnect and won't connect back nor will it charge. the other ports will allow me to charge my phone so I know it's not the cable. do I need to replace the USB port and if so, where do I find one?

    Anyone else having this issue?!?!?

This is not necessarily true. The cable may not have the data pins enabled/connected. So your cable may allow power but not data. I recommend trying a different cable, I found the head unit to be particularly finicky with cables to the point I went with a wireless Carlink unit.

Thanks, will give it s shot. I have an hour and forty-five minute drive to my hotel to see if I can get it to work.

Whenever I have issues it is ussually due to the cable having gone bad.

My 2020 did that same thing last week, had my maps up and it just disconnected and would not reconnect for anything, got to where I was going and cut truck off and restarted and it’s been fine since. Figured it was a glitch
