ACS LEITNER Forged Bed Racks upgrade

Upgraded to the New ACS forged Leitner bed racks to carry 2 ARB 8X8 Canopy, Yakima 7L 10 gallon Road shower and Yakima Cargo Basket with extention. Very happy with the results, it lined up with my custom made roof rack that was mounted on my Thule Cross Bars. Would like some feedbacks or recommendation from the Tundra forum . Nice! If me, I'd set it up with an easily removable custom made tie on or velcro strap on fabric enclosure similar to a soft topper. Don't like snaps or zippers much myself so use of those would limited. Kinda nice to have a quick up and down enclosure when you need one. Might even be able to fit a soft topper in there as is.

 

Nice, I'm eyeing the ACS forged tonneau rack. You planning on getting any of Leitner's gear pods?

 

Not yet, but ordered 4 Universal mounting plate from Leitner so I can mount my Rotopax gas can.

 

Those racks look like the were designed together. Well done!

You may be fully aware of this, but some people stopping by may not think of it right off, so it bears mentioning. I would caution that you don't want anything mounted to both the roof rack and the bed rack at the same time. As in, you don't want any one item bolted/strapped to both racks. When the cab and bed flex separately it could do all sorts of damage to the item, the racks, or even the truck. In the pics it is hard to tell if that ARB piece (awning?) is attached to both.

 

Thank you Adam, ARB Awning is not attached to roof rack, only on the leitner bed racks.

 

Looking at the attention to detail on your truck I figured you had it done up properly. Gotta say, the little bit of rear suspension I can see has me curious about what all is going on under there.
