I am selling my 12volt.Solutions remote start from my 2019 because I totaled the truck and this kit is not compatible with my 2021 because it has push button start. Asking $175 shipped.

This allows you to press the lock button on and "H" key 3 times to start or stop your engine. It was completely plug-n-play on my 2019 with NO wire cutting/splicing.




IMPORTANT NOTE: This kit will only work on vehicles with a Key Start Ignition System. This Kit will not work on Push Button Start vehicles.

 

Is this the X3 lock on the H key?

I've seen some fires being started to these types of units... are the 12volt solutions trustworthy?

 

I have it on my 2018 and have had no problems. Very nice kit.

 

Do you have some links to stories?
I find it hard to imagine but I am not an electrical expert. They are based here in Tulsa. I bought both of them directly in their offices and talked to the owner the first time. That doesn’t mean they are trustworthy but it did give me a good feeling.
I used this one that’s up for sale for about 18 months before I wrecked the truck. I have used the new one for 4-1/2 months with no problems.
I really liked the fact that it is plug-n-play with NO wire cutting/splicing/tapping. All the installation was done in the steering column and under the panel to the left of that and the driver side kick panel. Nothing under the hood like the Viper I had installed on my 2005.

 

This is not tech12volts.com who is a vendor on this site. I’m sure they make a good product too but I don’t have any experience with theirs.

Actually now that i look at it. The numbers are different between 18-19 and 20-21. I don't know that it will fit my 21.
