Hey guys, I'm working through a list of repairs to the 06' tundra I bought recently.

Any one have experience with remanufactured front cv's?

The left front cv boots are torn (no idea how long they've been torn) so instead of just buying new boots (and sealing off a potential bigger problem) I'm thinking of replacing the whole axle using remanufactured from either rock auto or lewis toyota as it's the same cost as new boots. OEM replacements are $450 vs $80 remanufactured

    Whatya think?

I have a pair of CVJ’s on my GX470. No problems with them.
