Alright everyone, I have been wanting to modify the tundra but I am stuck between 2 things. Can you guys help me decide what I should purchase between these 2 things?

    1. BDS 7'' lift, plus wheels and tires
    or
    2. Long tube headers (Stainless Works) to go with my TRD exhaust.

Any suggestions, Pros and Cons or anything you want to say would be greatly appreciated.

Any Trq gained by the headers will quickly become normal to your butt dyno and may not be as appreciated as a lift and new shoes over time.

That said, 7" of lift and tires to put under it may be excessive unless you really want a show truck and the compromises that come with all that.

You realize the 7 inch lift is a bracket lift- meaning you will be cutting the cross member on your brand new truck?

The Tundra is mainly driven by my wife as a soccer mom van during the week, and I drive it on the weekends. No towing, no off-roading simply used as a family hauler.

The price difference between those two items is pretty big, why not a milder lift and long tube headers.

btw Rufio was my child hood idol. The coolest of all the lost boys

Soccer mom rather I don't touch the truck at all, but the itch is real. This was her "soccer van" before.Seq.jpg

Didnt really think of that, but that could be an option as well. I always wanted a huge truck so thats why I said 7'' lift. Originally I wanted to go with a king 3" setup but that was on back order and havent looked since.

Rufio was a nick name I was given after the service so I just stuck with it. Even though I look nothing like him.

Give her a supercharger and a HP valve body for the tranny with a set of traction bars. She'll love it!

I wish bro, I have to keep it somewhat docile as we tend to take long trips during the holidays. The thirst is real with these trucks.

7 inch lift wouldn’t be very awesome as a family hauler.
