I bought a 2017 PRO the time will come eventually to replace the shocks.
I was pricing them and a set runs $2200.00 -3600.00
    DAMN........
What's a good replacement set that won't break the mad money bank?

If you have a Pro, keep/replace with the Pro shocks. The suspension is the major reason for getting that truck over another trim.

You can replace everything with aftermarket, many options for 2-2.5 lift coilovers and rear shocks, but you will degrade the value of your Pro. (check the suspension forum for info on lifts/suspension, lots of good info with pics in the threads there.

I’m preplanning for the same situation. The fox shocks ride smooth and are rebuildable, but at their new price you can snag a better set of ADS, Kings, etc.

I know a guy from TacomaWorld that rebuilds Fox Shocks & Struts from the TRD Pro suspensions and has a quick turnaround. PM me if needed and I’ll connect you with him.
