What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

They are aluminum. I bent the crap out of em real easy and was able to throw it with 1 hand like a javelin into the dumpster.

Yes.
If your truck already auto-folds, then you'll retain that (it's controlled by an ECU in the door connected to your memory). If it doesn't, then you won't unless you modify the wiring like I did to add it via a relay.

The visibility is really nice. I now understand why oem tow mirrors don’t come with BSM, because there’s simply no need. You just look at the lower glass and you can see your blind spot incredibly clearly.

 

Added some backup lights wired into the trailer connection so they only come on when I put it in reverse.

I had some extra wire and I made two brackets that attached to the two bolts under the rear bumper.

Anyway you could shoot me a quick rundown of how you wired your up? I’ve had this on my list of things to get done as well. Install looks good

 

Do any Tundras come with auto-folding mirrors? The ones in my car auto-fold, and I like that. In my Tundra, I have to push the fold button each time, unless I'm missing something?

I think that's the option he was talking about. I don't think any tundra mirrors automatically fold without pressing the button

 

If your 1794 doesn't have it, then none of them do.

ETA:
Except by adding an aftermarket DP relay to do it, which is what I did when I added power folding to my truck.

I have to push mine as well. I have the Platinum. I am sure someone may have something you can add/mod very similar to the mod that does the auto all roll down feature for the windows.
