You can’t take a ‘22 stock Pro off road without ripping shit off of it. It’s not built for it.

    Marketing:

    Off road truck...check
    rocks, hills, water and mud?....nope
    pumpkins...check
squat...check - even got a close up to highlight it

    Toyota:

    Why are sales so bad?

Heck, if they carved that pumpkin in the bed and tried to light it up from that 400w outlet they'd probably blow the circuit. Wonder why they didn't highlight that?

Don’t you see? It’s classic reverse psychology! Bad marketing just makes the customers want it more. It’s GENIUS! Lol

Yeah those older CRVs are tough! I had a buddy out west that had one from the early 2000s with coming up on a half mill km on it that he used for hunting too, he was actively trying to kill it, coincidentally it passed the amphibious test like yours too hahaha. He went places I’d never take the Tundra that’s for sure;)

Not when those extra 5 inches lead to less interior space.

Double cab I would say yes. Crewmax not really. I think the current crewmax was too big interior wise. The next gen crewmax looks about right space wise. If you need bigger go with the ram

They could've left us with one fake hood scoop. I mean the 2021 had a fake hood scoop on top of a fake hood scoop and then they just cut us off cold turkey.

There will undoubtedly be a number of us in withdrawal. At least they gave us functioning front air vents instead of black plastic fake vents.

I have no clue why people come on here that are new and being so salty. Like if you don't like the next gen tundra than you can happily buy a overpriced ram/FCA garbage

Salty? Sorry I didn't realize I was being salty. But while I'm replying, why does it matter how seasoned I am on the forums?

Give it 2 years for the engineers to copy a Taco. Tundra fake hood scoop will be a thing.

I've been very interested since day one. This slow walking of info and having a truck squatted by a pumpkin is not really confidence inspiring. I have an HD truck for work but I want a reliable, comfortable decent looking daily driver with the ability to tow my boat and haul a load of dirt/gravel etc for weekend projects.

Everyone will like the new Tundra after a few years.

As for looks, all Toyota trucks looked like their respective generation of Camry.

As for capability, it's always going to be similar in a half ton.

Although, the payload got higher, it's not really meant to carry much besides us Americans.

We average around 250lb, a 225lb, two kids 200lb each, 100lb best friend, and 4 buckets of KFC with big gulps, it's already near max.

While payload capacity had steadily increased from all new truck models, it has not matched the greater increase in body weight and consumption.

If there was an Olympic event for stupid advertising commercials, Toyota would take the Gold every time.

In the absence of any new information we gotta fill the time somehow. From the rumours, we might not get any new info (especially pricing which everyone is looking for and is utterly ridiculous that they are withholding it) until December……so it might be a longgggg couple of months. :annoyed:

I wonder where these decision are made? perhaps the bean counters back in the Motherland?
Not San Antonio , i was thinking way farther east.
I am not convinced they are waiting on supplier prices unless its for raw materials..
And everything was produced at xxx plus materials..As it would be a little late to change a part supplier this close to delievery.
    Sure over time they could.
