We have these and they took good care of us. During our last 73 days trip we traveled from cold Virginia to Florida and about 3/4’s the way there I received an alarm that one of the tires had exceeded the temperature.
I panicked (sort of) and immediately pulled off. After checked I found that during initial set up in Virginia, in January I had set the temperature at 80. That day it was 40 when we left. I just wasn’t thinking it’s warmer im Florida. Well I re-adjusted my high temperature warning threshold and it was perfect after that. I ran about-3-8 degrees over ambient temperature. Pressure increases about 4-6 lbs also. I felt it worked well. We traveled every week, and went from VA to Key West, to Pensacola to Jackal Island to Myrtle Beach to back to Virginia. It worked great.

I did. I found a Heartland Mallard m27 that’s 5400 dry. I borrowed a 24’ from my folks that was 6400 loaded and did just fine pulling it out to our property. I’ll be picking it up from Lake Havasu tomorrow. The drive from there to Tucson is very flat and rural. It’ll be a good trip to see how well it tows. The rig includes a weight distribution hitch.

This is what we went with. Heartland Mallard M27. 6900 GVW and 5400 dry. Did great on the flat highway from Havasu to Tucson and did well through the mountains in southern AZ.

I was thinking of AAL and billies all around as well as an E rated set of tires.
