2020 Tundra Crewmax Subwoofer Enclosure

Built this enclosure for a customers 2020 Tundra Crewmax. 3 Skar Audio VD-10 in a 2.26cu.ft sealed box. Does require a 2” seat lift and 1 1/2” forward adjustment. I’m currently fabricating the seat mounts which will get installed next weekend.

My first thought was "holy hell, i that actually fits behind the rear seat. Then i read about about the seat lift, makes sense.

It sound pretty damn good for being shallow mounts. I originally had a ported box in mind I planned on building for him until he added a extra sub. Couldn’t get the needed airspace though with the 3rd sub. He didn’t want any subs installed until he seen the sub box I built for his little brothers 2020 Silverado. are you selling the seat lift kit? i would be interested in one. or if you could tell me how you made it .

 

id want to push the seat least 3 - 5 more inches foward

I built my own 12" box to fit. I’m sure it’s not "audio excellent" but it works pretty damn good. The biggest challenge is to make sure you have clearance for the sub, it can’t rest or hit against the back of the seat. I used a RF shallow mount and my truck shakes.
