Factory Car play is added. Working on modifying the harness to the car solutions any time camera to hopefully retain its functions. If not I’ll be strictly backup camera only I guess.
UI on radio is MUCH nicer to look at since it’s customisable to green.

Jelly. Should have done more research on it before buying for crackie.... Might need a tail gate first, and a handle.....

Could swap the current head unit into the V6, and then re-buy for crackie... later date.

I'll link this to my ideas thread.

So got the car solutions unit to turn on. Radio controls and all still function, I can hear the switching relay working. But no backup camera yet. I’ll need to see what’s going on there.

I do know the camera works, 86 owners that have gone to the newer unit that had radio backup cameras say it works. I just might have to give up front and rear cameras

^ this. When it reads quite low and doesn't change with acceleration, thats when the sending unit is likely bad

I put them on a local site. If I still have them next year or next time I'm road tripping I'll put them on here and see if anyone wants to meet up. We make fairly regularly yearly trips to Moscow and sometimes down to southern Utah. I would expect shipping to suck and I'll try to avoid that one.

I just did new Moog widowmaker lower ball joints. My previous set lasted 3 years and didn't really seem bad. I think this set had just a slightly longer threaded shaft or the cotter pin hole was slightly lower because I could actually get one thickness of a thinner pin in there. That was cool because I've been rocking red lock tight and viz torque for two years and it worked, but I'd rather have a mechanical locking device on such a critical nut.

I also just got through a chap stick tube of red lock tite. I thought it just dried up. Nope it was empty. Well... I guess I do use it on lots of stuff.

This is on my radar but I've been concerned about the brightness at night. Apparently they fixed these so they "auto-dim" but I plan to mount mine overhead and don't want it too bright. Any thoughts on the brightness at night? Thanks, and sweet truck btw!

Saw these power port inserts for the ashtray spots and remembered your post from earlier in the week. I have his overhead switch panel holder. Nice guy, good prices, fast shipping. Screen Shot 2021-10-31 at 4.14.11 AM.jpg

Does anyone know if there's a mod to make the dash clock brighter in appearance? Especially when you turn on the headlights. I hate trying to read it when I have to drive through rain during the day with them on.

It seems bright but only because I don’t have the rest of the decals on but the one that is on is at a good brightness. I noticed it would dim at times I thought it was flickering. Then I found out about the sensor lol. I say it’s good as is

My first set of h1 retrofits. They aren't really stock or fancy. I'd say they are a stealth aftermarket set that looks pretty stock, but with projectors.

Got the sequoia back. Front end is mostly done. Had king coil overs and front wheel bearings done.

it rides pretty awesome, not to mention the truck just feels overall more stable it skates down the road smooth as silk. We ended up with kings because we got lucky and found them in stock from headstrong Offroad. I’ve kinda got a side by side comparison going since the tundra is running ADS coil overs with total chaos arms and the sequoia with the kings. I don’t have enough miles on either setup to call it one way or another though yet. Both trucks ride excellent.
