Hi guys, new to the forum and a first time tundra owner. Yesterday I installed the dirty deeds 10” exhaust on my truck and in doing so forgot about the part where Keith said to just tighten the flange bolts until the ears start to come together in order to make the perfect seal. Instead I tightened basically until the ears were touching which did not take much effort surprisingly. It still has a good seal and no leaks, does anyone foresee any issues with this other than I may have to replace the factory gaskets if I ever remove those bolts in the future?
Also what a sound! Exactly what I was looking for. Nice deep tone at low RPMs and wonderfully aggressive when you open it up. I didn’t really notice any acceleration difference and just a little drone at 1500rpm but I have not installed the resonator yet and not sure if I'm going to.

Install the resonator. It’ll completely get rid of the drone.

If there’s no leaks, and it’s that tight, no need to change anything.

So I finally had some decent weather to install the resonator and it really cleaned up the sound inside the cab without effecting the overall sound. Very happy overall.
