2018+ LED HEADLIGHTS PLUG N PLAY HARNESS FOR 2014-2021 MODELS [V 2.0]

I ended up getting them off Amazon, strictly because I wasn't sure if they'd pan out and I wanted to have that return policy handy

they look and fit great, however the light output is not that great. nothing like the OEM LED headlights I've seen. light seems to be fairly scattered and not as focused as OEM. made a post about them cause I saw a lot of people wondering about them (myself included) and decided to take one for the team lol.

@iHacker I am swapping my stock 2021 SR5 headlights ... halogen projectors with LED DRL's. Which adapter do I need? And how do I go about buying it?

2014-17 TRD PRO/SR5/LIMITED Non-Dimming LED DRLs (Bright mode all the time)

 

If anyone is looking to upgrade their LED turn signal bulbs in their 2019 TRD Pro LED headlights. Alla Lighting directs you to the wrong bulb for it. The correct one is 7442NAL. I have attached a photo of the bulb direct from my 2019 TRD Pro headlight.

 

@iHacker harness works great was an easy install on my 21 SR5. Night and day difference going to the PRO headlights from the halogen.

 

Finally got the pro headlights all on! Thanks again for the harness! @iHacker

 

Hi everyone, I have a 2016 tundra trd and it comes prewire for the led DRL that go under each headlight panel and my question is: can this plug be used to power the led DRL on the new Trd pro headlights, instead of going to the fuse box.

 

Where is everyone finding the best deals on OEM pro headlights? Seems like I can’t pull them up on cool springs anymore.

I have traded my TRD Sport and I am wanting to put those headlights from that model into the 21 TSS SR5 that I purchased/traded. Do I need a harness for this project?? Thank you in advance. Ken

I’m doing the non dimming(already have the ihacker harness). Have people had trouble with blinding others since DRL does not auto dim?

 

I’m curious if it’s bad also. I prefer the PNP and have been on the fence for too long while I decide.

I've had non-dimming for about a year & half now. got only 2 or 3 flashes from oncoming drivers during that time.

So a trick I’ve used several times now. If you go to https://parts.toyota.com/ and search for the part number you want, once on that parts page you will be see a list of dealers on the right side. You then type your zip in and you will be presented with a list of dealers. I then click on each one until I find the one with the best price. You will be surprised at how variable the prices will be across all the dealers and with the current code “freeship” it doesn’t cost a cent to ship it.

 

Installed yesterday and the drl being on and not dimming does not seem to be an issue. I love the lights and the harness from ihacker works flawless. I depinned my amber drl because it stayed on with the new drls. Lights are way brighter than my old ones and my old ones had led’s. I’m contemplating getting the new fog lights now.

 

I’ve only had mine installed for one day and they seem fine. Super happy with the lights and harness. I really wanna see a comparison between dimming and non dimming now

 

I’d love to see a comparison. All you need is a stock truck at a dealer, yeah? Since that is the factory dimming.
