    Hi all,

I'm looking to convert my truck into a half time overlanding, every day driving and picking up my kids from school a few days a week setup. I have been doing some googling and reading up on a lot of stuff since last month. This is a multi questions post.

    1) what i'm thinking thus far is get the RetraxPro cover next month but at the same time, I was thinking about getting the DECKED system as well. I was wondering if the canister for the RetraxPro will interfere with the DECKED? Additionally, is it worth getting a RetraxPro with the DECKED? The space between the DECKED and RetraxPro will be small, I can store some camping gears there and more stuff on top of the RetraxPro since they can handle 500 lbs of distributed weight and cargo net that down.

1.2) i will also need to haul around groceries, will the DECKED system interfere with this requirement? I suppose I can put the groceries in the DECKED but how much can that really hold?

    2) any issue with 33.5 inch tires on 18" rims I should worry about? i'm probably not going to get it lifted, I might if it doesn't void the warranty. I want to do some offroading and crawling as well.

    3) I was also looking at getting the roofnest connor XL since I have to sleep 4 people. I also have to lug around my 90 lbs hard shell kayak, I don't think the connor has a rail on top of it for transporting any other object and was wondering if anyone has a solution for this? Eventually I will probably get a M1101 to haul around the roofnest and put my kayak on the truck but that's a long way out.

    4) I'm also eyeballing the yakima overhaul HD pillar since it look nice, seem versatile from what I have read and has the ability to move up and down, which is a plus for me. If anyone know a better one, please let me know.

    that's it for now.

    thanks,
