I'm curious to see if anyone in the Broomfield, CO area or somewhere close to that has a 6 or 8in BA Exhaust system intalled on their truck? I would love to meet up with someone who does and just be able to hear it in person before making a decision its hard for me to tell just from the vids.

    Pretty things
Stock exhaust for me currently, but I'd be interested for when my muffler time comes.

...Think I remember seeing your truck on CL late last year. Decided I wanted to take a look in person and the post was gone. Looked like a good one!

Hope you're loving your Tundra so far. I know I am!

This is true. The 8” is by far our most popular system.

Go 6! I love mine and I've learned it's sound now so it can be quiet when I need it to be and loud when I want it to be.

I didn't want no resonator on my exhaust so I got the 10". Its quiet with the windows up but loud with them down.

I think he’s saying that he did not want to install a resonator, so went with a quieter muffler to begin with. I have the six with no resonator at the moment. Still love it. Maybe someday I’ll try out the resonator. I just ordered with a block off plate in case I want to go back to no resonator.

Yea but who would want to restrict their exhaust flow and reduce hp/torque. I just didn't want a lot of cabin drone.

Wonder if anyone has dyno'd them? Different sizes and with or without resonator

The videos are nice, but I know what you mean about hearing it in person. I decided on the 8” because I don’t tow much. I live in a residential area and don’t feel it is too obnoxious.

Another thing I thought was weird is that non of my family or friends noticed it being any louder. I had to tell them about the exhaust.

I have the 8” without the resonator. I will be installing the resonator soon. The drone is starting to wear on me.

I haven’t done any dyno testing. But the truck definitely felt better above 3500 rpms with the 8” system.

I'm in FoCo with a 6" no resonator. Come check it out anytime. You WILL order one and toss that resonator in the trash.

Had the 6” on a previous tundra. Currently have the budget version with no muffler, and the resonator installed. It’s perfect, but I also don’t tow.

This is entirely untrue. Most resonator do not restrict flow at all. Stock mufflers do, but a lot of high performance mufflers don’t, and almost no resonators restrict flow.

Our Helmholtz resonator has 0 restriction. It only cancels 130hz. And does literally nothing else.
