I would like some feedback (no pun intended) on audio upgrades that had positive results. Replacing speaker suggestions, “factory like” decks, sub enclosures?

I am sure there are many of you who have preferences and opinions. HELP!

Whoo this topic has a whole lot of discussion on this forum! I guess it’s my lucky day to point you to tech12volts! Really great vendor who sells a lot of solutions custom for tundras. Active on this forum as well. This is more of a DIY approach.

I recently bought and installed a complete audio overhaul from him. I’ll send a link to the thread with details. I need to update it now that it’s all installed. Long story short - I am very happy. Would recommend to anyone who wants really great tech and sound. Disclaimer - I ended up having a local shop install all of this equipment. I had an unexpected move and it was too much time I didn’t have to do it all myself.

I got my whole system from James recently. It will be a few weeks before the install. Everything Arc Audio. With sound deadening. Keeping the JBL headunit and adding the DSR processor. 5 channel amp. Components for the doors. No dash speakers involved. Also dual 10 inch subs.

No I got one off Amazon recently. They had 11 of them. Sold out in a couple of hours.

I will say from my recent experience upgrading, be very careful diving in. Today’s vehicles are completely different from what we are used to audio wise. Buy quality parts, ask for advice and don’t guess.

    Here's my opinion

The Search function has amazing knowledge on this subject.

Crying for help is a pretty lame way to introduce yourself.

We would be happy to help, but you can also help yourself first by SEARCHING it.
No one is going to tell you exactly what you need, they're going to tell you what they have experience with, and all of it will be different. All of which has been asked before and documented on many threads.

After using said SEARCH function you most likely will answer all you questions, without any crying.
You can do this, it's easy... Click the little magnifying glass, type in question and unleash the power!

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Just send James at tech12v a message. Let him know what your budget is and he will hook you up. You can’t get what he can supply you with for any cheaper unless you go the used route. Plus you get his tech support.
